Tsavo and Diani belong naturally in one southern Kenya journey, but the connection must be paced honestly. This itinerary gives the parks time before moving to a coast stay long enough to feel restorative.
The safari sequence may use Tsavo West, Tsavo East or both according to start point, season and lodge choice. The coast section remains deliberately less programmed.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Travel to Tsavo
Meet your private safari vehicle and enter the wider Tsavo landscape, with game viewing governed by light and arrival time.
Day 2 — Tsavo on safari
Morning and afternoon wildlife time with long pauses for behaviour and photography.
Day 3 — A second Tsavo landscape
Continue within the ecosystem or move between West and East, accepting that distances are part of the experience.
Day 4 — From red earth to the Indian Ocean
Complete the safari transfer and continue to Diani or Galu. Settle in without an evening obligation.
Day 5 — Full beach day
Rest after safari.
Day 6 — Optional marine or South Coast day
Choose Kisite-Mpunguti and Wasini when conditions suit, or remain at the property.
Day 7 — A final unstructured coast day
Beach, spa, photography or private time.
Day 8 — Departure
Transfer to the booked air, rail or road connection.

We do not publish a token “from” price because coastal rates change by travel date, room, meal plan, child ages and transport. Tell us your dates, party and preferred comfort level. We will quote the complete journey, explain the important trade-offs and offer alternatives only where they genuinely improve the trip.
Responsible travel
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. We use established marine and cultural guides, keep respectful distance from animals, avoid standing on coral and ask before photographing people. Weather, tide and local safety advice always take priority over a fixed programme.
