Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Fly from Entebbe to Kidepo
Meet at Entebbe for the scheduled or charter flight to the Kidepo region, operating on the confirmed day and aircraft load. On arrival, join the Wilderness Alternative vehicle and guide for the transfer to the lodge. Make a first late-afternoon game drive in the Narus Valley if flight time and park conditions allow.
Day 2 — Narus Valley
Begin early while the valley is cool and wildlife is active. Explore slowly around water sources and open grassland, looking for buffalo, elephant, giraffe, antelope and predators without forcing a checklist. Return to the lodge through the heat of the day, then head out again as the light softens.
Day 3 — Kidepo Valley and the north
Travel deeper into the park towards the Kidepo Valley and Kanangorok area when road, weather and security guidance permit. The day is about scale, geology, birdlife and the feeling of the northern landscape as much as individual sightings. A respectful community-led visit can be added only through a locally agreed arrangement with clear consent and fees.
Day 4 — Final drive and flight to Entebbe
Take a short dawn drive when the confirmed flight time permits, then transfer to the airstrip for Entebbe. International departures need a safe connection buffer; an additional Entebbe night is recommended for early or tightly timed onward flights.
Why the price is confirmed by date
Kidepo flights do not behave like a fixed daily shuttle. Scheduled services operate on selected days and may depend on minimum passenger numbers; private-charter cost changes with aircraft, load and positioning. Lodge availability also has a material effect. Wilderness Alternative therefore quotes the real combination for your dates instead of publishing a misleading figure.

Remote-country standard
Wildlife sightings, road access and air schedules cannot be guaranteed. The guide adjusts each drive to current water, weather and animal movement, while UWA and aviation instructions take precedence. Four days are the minimum worthwhile fly-in rhythm: arrival afternoon, two real safari days and a final morning before departure.
